through hands-on radio experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7319881513MsoNormal\">GOAL: Communicate over the radio instructions on how to assemble something.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7319881513MsoNormal\">Supplies needed:<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7319881513MsoNormal\">Handheld Radios (Amateur or FRS)<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7319881513MsoNormal\">Lego, Duplo, or something similar they can build something with. 6 \u2013 8 bricks per set.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7319881513MsoNormal\">Break the youth up into an even number of groups.\u00a0 (even groups of 2 youth work great for this exercise).\u00a0 Match two groups up and give them each handheld radios and identical lego bricks.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-554 alignleft\" something with their bricks and then communicate over the radio to the other group step-by-step instructions on how to assemble the same thing.\u00a0 The receiving group then works to build the exact
