Three photos from the “South Valley Radio Guys,” Jon Titus (KZ1G) and Len Bayles (KA7FTP), who operated during Field Day Saturday (6-25) from the Wendover Historic Airfield in Wendover, UT, grid DN20.  We operated FT8, FT4, SSB, and CW with a long-wire vertical antenna and a BuddiPole antenna, used mainly on 40 and 20 meters with call sign KZ1G.  Our thanks go to the airfield staff for permission to use the site for Field Day.

The SVRG setup required shade! It was a sunny and hot day. Solar panels provided power for battery charging.

The Wendover Historic Airfield includes this restored control tower, a great place for antennas.
