Salt Lake City, UT – Pat Malan, American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Section Manager, announces the appointment of Scott Rosenbush as Public Information Coordinator for the Utah Section of the ARRL.

“We’re looking forward to having Scott join the Utah Section cabinet. He has extensive experience with volunteer organizations and he will be a welcome addition to our team,” said Pat Malan.

“I’m honored by this appointment,” said Scott Rosenbush. “I’m looking forward to supporting the Amateur Radio community in Utah.”

The ARRL Public Information Coordinator (PIC) is a section-level official appointed by and reports to the Section Manager (SM) as the section’s expert on public information and public relations matters. The PIC is responsible for organizing, training, guiding, and coordinating the activities of the Public Information Officers (PIOs) within the section.  The overall goal of the PIC is to promote interest in Amateur Radio to the population within their section.
