By Ted Cowan, NA7C, Affiliated Club Coordinator. Assistant Section Manager

Many Utah section clubs are conducting Field Day this year and the public is invited to participate.  You don’t need an Extra class license or even a ham license to get on the air when you visit a Field Day site.

Below is a list of the Field Day sites we know of and most of them will have licensed coaches ready to help.  Most of the larger clubs are also operating a special station called a “GOTA” (Get On The Air) station that will coach and guide the inexperienced ham.  Contact the club’s Field Day contact for more information.
